Privacy

The short version: we use what you give us to coach you, and for nothing else. We don't sell your information, we don't show you ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time.
Who we are
Rep Review is an iPhone app made by Alamex. If you have any question about your information, email privacy at repreviewapp dot com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only see Apple's private relay address. We also note your country so we can show prices and dates correctly.
- Your answers: the training level, focus and goal you pick when you start.
- Your reps: when you film or upload an exercise, the app takes still frames from the video on your phone and sends those frames, not the video itself. We also keep the exercise name, any note you add, Riley's review, your thumbs up or down, and any questions you ask Riley.
- Your subscription: whether you're on a trial or a paid plan and when it renews. Apple handles payment, so we never see your card details.
- Notifications: a device token so we can tell you when a review is ready, if you allow notifications.
- Basic activity: things like when you signed up, how many reviews you've had and when you last used the app, so we can run your allowance and fix problems.
How we use it
- To give you Riley's reviews and answer your questions.
- To run your account, your allowance and your subscription.
- To send you emails about your account: when a review is ready and a reminder before a free trial ends. You can turn review emails off in the app, under Me, or with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails.
- To make Riley better. A small team may look at reviews and ratings to check quality and fix mistakes.
Who helps us
We use a few trusted companies to run Rep Review. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Anthropic provides the AI that looks at your frames and writes Riley's review. Under our agreement your frames are not used to train their models.
- Cloudflare hosts the app's servers and stores your account and reviews.
- Resend sends our emails.
- RevenueCat and Apple handle subscriptions, Sign in with Apple and notifications.
We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and reviews while you have an account. When you delete your account in the app, we delete your profile, your frames and your reviews. Some purchase records may be kept by Apple and RevenueCat where they're required to keep them.
Your choices
- Delete your account and everything in it from the Me tab in the app.
- Turn review emails on or off in the app, under Me.
- Turn notifications off in your iPhone's Settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct it, by emailing privacy at repreviewapp dot com.
Children
Rep Review isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. For bigger changes we'll tell you in the app.
